FDCP, OLSBERG SPI RELEASE STRATEGIC ROADMAP TO BUILD A THRIVING PHILIPPINE FILM INDUSTRYMANILA, PHILIPPINES – The Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP), in collaboration with international creative industries consultancy Olsberg SPI, officially launched ‘The Big Picture: Roadmap for the Future of the Film Industry of the Philippines’ on November 18, 2025. This release follows the two organization’s partnership agreement signed in November last year.

FDCP TO SCREEN RESTORED VERSION OF NORA AUNOR’S 1984 FILM ‘MERIKAMANILA, PHILIPPINES – The Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) proudly presents the premiere of the digitally restored version of ‘Merika (1984) by Gil Portes at the Metropolitan Theater on May 18, 2025. This restoration is part of the council's ongoing commitment to preserving Philippine cinema through the Philippine Film Archive.
